Amon Amarth is a (melodic) death metal band hailing from Sweden, named after a volcano in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth. Like fantasy, it’s best to just have fun listening to them knowing their lyrics are mostly theatrical, singing of Nordic adventures, dragons, vikings, and mythology.
